Time to bust out that home-brew kit you bought in college and later cannibalized to make a gravity bong. In March, Williams-Sonoma is going to start selling the Beer Tender ($400), a tap created by Heineken and Krupps as a method to store and serve your homebrew.
The tender holds five liters, and the beer should stay fresh for 30 days. Its temperature gauge will let you finally quantify whether your homemade concoction is at least the same temperature as piss, and an indicator light will let you know when you're running low on reserves.
The Tender has long been popular in Europe, but it's wondered whether it will do well stateside, since Americans may just recoil at the taste of actual fresh beer.
