Sports' Most Distracting Ladies

With the Dallas Cowboys being bounced from the playoffs by the underdog New York Giants, many guys are wondering the same thing: Was it Jessica's fault?

Some say when Jessica Simpson showed up at a Dallas football game wearing a jersey with quarterback Tony Romo's number 9 embroidered in pink a few weeks back, she not only admitted they were dating, she caused Tony to lose focus and blow the game, handing a win to the mediocre Philadelphia Eagles.

The season-ending loss to the Giants came on the heels of a week in which all the talk was about the appropriateness of Romo and Simpson's recent two-day jaunt to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Jessica Simpson isn't the first high-profile hottie who could be blamed for a pro baller's meltdown. Here's our list of temptresses that some might even call jinxes.

Oh Please. You give that blondie too much credit. I'm actually considered a "Good luck charm" for our local hockey team. About a week and a half ago, I had to pass through the locker room when the guys were getting ready to play. I touched a few on the arm to give them good luck for the game. I had never seen players in "pre game mode" before. They looked like wax figures at a museum. They won the game. After the game, I went up to one of the players I'd touched while passing through the locker room and he had no idea what I was talking about. He was so focused, he hadn't even noticed 3 ladies passing through the locker room...

I hardly think Tony Romo's playing had anything to do with Jessica being there. Unless the color pink distracted him, as if he could see it in the sea of fans! He supposed to be a professional after all, and even though she is beautiful, c'mon, how distracting can she have been? Put the blame where it belongs, on the team, after all, they weren't ALL dating her!!!

This is more a comment on the atheletes and the type of people they surround themselves with. Fights and such are not normal behavior. If the guy chooses to surround himself with that type of behavior, and let it affect his preformance, then it is his fault not the females. If you manage to get to that level of play,then you should be strong enough not to let that crap bother you. You focus on your game not the peripheral B.S. if you don't it is your fault not someone elses. Been there and had to do it at all the levels on the way up, and once I got there.

If Romo was so distracted he could not perform because Simpson was at a game, then he has no business being a professional athlete. Give me a break.You're looking at fans and media looking for an excuse to explain a lousy perfromance. Next we'll be looking at voodoo dolls and amulets to ward off evil spirits...which makes just about as much sense.

I don't think Jessica is to blame for the Cowboys crappy performance, that is the team's fault all the way. However guys you missed one in your most distracting ladies. Willa Ford now wife and distractor of Mike Modano. Yes, he broke the recond for most goals scored by a American born hockey player last yr BUT his over all performance has suck. It started when Willa came on the scene, not only is this woman distracting but she's all annoying too. Ya'll missed the boat by not adding her!!!
