another one that isnt on the list is barbara walters... lol. these women would be no where if it wasnt for that women!

HEATHER CATALLO, ABC CH7 DETROIT, MIKA METERA, WGN, CHICAGO TO NAME THE FIRST 2 THAT COME TO MIND. I admit that some of these women were beautiful, but at least half of them looked almost exactly alike, especially the blondes!!!
Also, Andrea Cambern of WBNS-10 TV in Columbus Ohio should totally be considered....she's gotta be at least close to 40 yrs old and totally gives most of these women a run for their money for sure!!!!!

This whole thing is, in my opinion, horribly sexist and disrespectful to women. A female news anchor has to be hott and young in order to get a job. She doesn't necessarily have to be smart. However, a male anchor/ reporter can be old, fat, ugly and balding and that's o.k. So ladies, we aren't worth much of anything unless we are young and attractive, right? It really doesn't matter how smart she is or the influence she has within the media, as long as she's hott and, preferably, wears a mini skirt on TV. Once she hits a certain age, they throw her out to the dogs? Meanwhile, the men keep losing more hair, gain more weight and continue to make good money in the news business.
Sad and pathetic. Show us a real woman and focus on smarts over looks.

Same fair choices, but Robin Meade (that's not a very good file photo of her, in my opinion) - check her out weekday mornings till 10 AM on CNNHL... easily beats any of those women in there as the smartest, sexiest, and classiest, - along with a fantastic sense of humor. She makes getting out of bed a pleasure and turning on the tube, I told her when I met her last week, she's my 'Snooze Alarm'!
