The next time you plan on stalking Ashley Judd and then trying to escape in your set of wheels, remember who she's married to: one of the greatest race car drivers in the world. Dario Franchitti was in his boxers, eating cereal, in the Nashville home he shares with Judd, when a man walked in.
"I really don't think I was the one he was looking for, but the guy quickly turned around and ran out of the house. He got in his car and sped off. So what did I do? I got in my car and chased him," Franchitti said.
After the police caught the intruder, Franchitti realized he was still in his undies.
Oh, Ashley, sure Dario's a multi-millionaire, he's internationally famous and clearly not afraid of anyone -- but c'mon, what do you really see in him?

i, for one, had no clue who he was until he won indy. i've known about the Judds, and Ashely in particular, for YEARS. why? b/c i'm an american and world racing doesn't affect me all that much. kudos to him for going after the guy, in his underware, no less. goes to show you what's REALLY important to him: his home and his family's safety. i just hope he's more careful next time. Saundra Bullock's husband, Jesse James was damn near run over by a crazed fan. and conceal carry is getting to be more and more prevelant. hard to dodge a bullet no matter how fast you drive.

Dario Franchitti is man enough and good enough to be known as Dario Franchitti, NOT Mr. Ashley Judd. Heck, he is more famous than she is! Give credit where credit is due. I am sure he DOES NOT like being known as Mr. Ashley Judd.

I APPRECIATE A WOMEN OR MAN,WHO FALLS IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE THAT IS NOT GOOD LOOKING.THAT SHOWS A TRUE LOVE.
BUT A WOMEN OR MAN WHO MARRIES FOR MONEY,IS A PROSTATUTE.YOU SLEEP NEXT TO A MONEY BAG,INSTEAD OF A PERSON YOU LOVE.AT LEAST A PROSTITUTE HAS VARIETY.

Just because people have money, they can forget to turn their security systems on like anyone else can and others only activate it when they are leaving the house or going to bed. It's a bit of an inconvenience to set it just because you came through the door. If you go in and out you have to turn it off and on, if you walk on a carpet with sensors under it you will set it off too. Besides, if you do or don't have security, what gives anyone the right to tresspass or walk into your home in the first place?? AND who marries a person for looks? Love, intelect and personality should win out always before looks which everyone looses eventually.

Puh-leez! If we stop to compare notes on who has been more news/media worthy between Mr. and Mrs. FRANCHITTI... Let's see: Dario won the Indianapolis 500 in 2007 (along with several other races in the IRL's 2007 season), took the IRL 2007 Championship title, and then moved on to a career in NASCAR. Ashley did.... (am I the only on who hears crickets chirping?).
Dario is the MAN! His wife (god bless her, anyways) is nothing more than a lukewarm hollywood has-been.

I don't think the article was being sarcastic at all when it came to asking what she sees in dario. I mean there was absolutely no sarcasm in it whatsoever when it says "sure Dario's a multi-millionaire, he's internationally famous and clearly not afraid of anyone -- but c'mon, what do you really see in him?"
I am sure they were being extremely serious with that statement. And I bet when the wrote it they were probably thinking of the people who comment on the article and how they would pick up the seriousness of the question and in no way think that there might be just a tad bit of irony it it.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Dario Franchitti and he was a lovely fellow, polite and a gentleman. How can you base an opinion with no foundation. Ashley is one of most classy actresses around and they both do not deserve the bad media comments without any basis.

Surely I'm not the only one who recognizes that the writer was using sarcastic humor by saying, "what do you really see in him?" I do agree with the comment however that he clearly is his own person and should not be referred to as Mr. Ashley Judd.

Dario was just letting the world know that he is not playing around. He will chase anyone down! He's got what it takes to make it. I say, You go, Dario and tell Ashley I said high too! Best of luck in 08'. On my way...

Just to show you how us americans are so far behind when it comes to "world" and roadrace motorsports literacy. For most americans there is only Nascar. Don't get me wrong, you can't take away anything from Nascar, but it's sad to see that for a country like ours, we do not recognize talents(although in this particular issue dario is not an american) that compete internationally pitted against others with the full support of their nation. It's such a pity that majority are so absorbed over britney and paris. Sad, very sad.
