PETA is saying that we should treat our pets the way that we are treating our children, and then they say to spade and neuter our pets. To make this a sound argument, they would have to say that we should spade and neuter our children as well. The counter argument is: I would not do that to my children, so why would I do it to my cat/dog? This is another fine example of PETA implementing poor reasoning. They do that frequently. NOTE: I did not make any statement of my own beliefs on this matter, I simply gave a logical counter argument.

Pet overpopulation is a big problem. In my opinion, people shouldn't be having tons of kids either. And people who can't recognize and understand satire as the lead-headed Edward commenting here, well, such people will never get it. Their loss, our laughter, and our gained insight. That's the purpose of satire: to make you laugh and to make a point. And satire by nature isn't padded.
Just because someone pinches you to pay attention to something, don't whine, think. I know it may be hard for some people to do so. But its no excuse still.
