Your town has a serious problem, and we'd like to help -- but the first step is admitting it. A new Men's Health study lists the most dangerously drunk cities in America.
You might argue that there are good reasons why your town has a high percentage of DUI arrests and liver disease, including great bars and brilliant mixologists.
But you'd be in complete denial.
So we present you the list of the Top 10 Dangerously Drunk Cities and our thoughts on why each made the list. Now it's up to you to get your entire city into the basement of a nearby church for the next AA meeting.

You people don't have a clue. Bay City Michigan has more bars per capita than any other city in the US. Drunk drivers and seat belts are the biggest cash cow the city has. do your homework !!

Please....I don't know where you get your information from. Do you know that Lubbock, TX is dry? Did you know that John Denver has been dead for years? And if Kevin Federline makes a town qualify as one of the drunkest, what does Brittany do to one's reputation??? Have you actually researched this article or are you another example of incompetent media? If you want to show the "most drunken cities", back it up with verifiable data like total DUI arrests per capita. Be responsible.

Lancaster County Has the Dubious honor of have more people killed or injured by drunk drivers that any place else....The powers to be here are stimied by this and can't figure it out.......Hello, a drunk driver should be charged with att. manslauter the second he gets behind the wheel of a 2 or 3 thousand pound vehicle and tries to drive....its like putting a loaded gun in the hands of a kid. And if he kills someone charge: Homicide, one. No slap on the wrist crap.

really aol?...really? besides alaska these are all in the bible belt. you dont get the really good drunks and drunk problems like stds, fights, and the famed "whisky tounge" until you combine alcohol w/ immorality, boredom, and as many drugs as you can find. get to the east coast; nyc, phl, dc, and all the college towns in between like penn state. i was in nyc at a bar that was packed on a tuesday at 10:30am in mid september. waiting for a train in philly i watched a person on the street guzzel from a gallon of bankers club whisky at 9:00am. if those places in colorado really had drunks, the # of people "sunny bono-ing" into trees on ski slopes would be much greater.

"If you want to show the "most drunken cities", back it up with verifiable data like total DUI arrests per capita." THAT WOULD NOT GIVE ANY INDICATION AS TO WHICH COULD BE A "MOST DRUNKEN CITY" HOWEVER, IT COULD INDICATE WHICH CITY HAS A ZEALOUS POLICE FORCE OUT TO SET RECORDS.

Did those who criticized this study actually take the time to read it? The silly comments below the pictures are just this website's attempts at humor. The actual study, conducted by Men's Health magazine, and referenced above, chose the cities by factoring in several elements - including annual death rates due to alcoholic liver disease, drunk-driving arrests, and the percentage of fatal accidents involving intoxicated motorists - and offsetting those tallies with points given by MADD for state efforts to cut down on excessive drinking. You may not agree with the factors used or the conclusions drawn, but you can't assume the cities were chosen at random just because they're not the ones you were expecting to see.

And why is the picture for Milwaukee from a Packer game? The Packers play at Lambeau Field in GREEN BAY 120 miles from Miller Park in Milwaukee.

You all (except Cathy) must be drunk. Or just really stupid. Read the second paragraph... this "study" came from Men's Health Magazine not AOL.
