The Hottest Newscasters: Readers' Choice Edition -- Vote for Your Favorite

And now for this important update: The readers of Asylum have looked at the list of Top 20 Hottest Newscasters and demanded a recount. Some have said our editors don't know jack about what makes a hot, hard-hitting reporter.

In search of the truth, the Asylum editorial board has decided to take the nominations received for "best news-breaking babe" and put them up for a vote.

After the chads have been counted, we will send the winner Asylum's "Hottest Newscaster of the Year" award.

(By the way, we do care about brilliant and insightful journalism, but don't let that sway your vote.)

They are all very cute looking girls but you missed my two favorites right here in the Detroit market and they both work at the same station WDIV Channel 4 in Detroit. Once you see these two you would never change the channel again in your life. My two favorites are Katrina Handcock and Kim Adams. Both of the sweetest girls you ever see the Sports and Weather respectivly. They make me smile. :-)

I guess the list is prejudicial against older woman in their late 40's and early 50's. Where are Paula Zahn, Faith Daniels and Gisele Fernandez? These 3 woman at one time hosted the early CBS Morning News. They were the hottest newscaster around. Obviously yhe readers know squat about pretty woman. Locally, we have Faye Hoffman from WGGB40 and Michelle Smith from Channel 22 WBBZ(NBC). They have this hidden sexual and good looks quality about them.

Alicia Smith??? What have you been Smoking? She's a Road Dog! Kalamazoo was glad to get rid of her, all she ever did was Ham up the screen and upstage everyone. It was obvious she wished the main female anchor would just go away.

Just glad shes somewhere else and not here, we'll never see her on National News, no class.

As for TV's 20 Hottest Newscasters, how could you fail to include CNN's Robin Meade? With Christie Paul, CNN has put the "Dynamic Duo" front and center. They're so lovely, they get me going like a good cup of coffee! They're the only reason I watch any morning newscasts.
I also believe you should have included Deborah Norville, another radiant beauty, and a Georgia Belle (although she no longer does "hard news'). NBC laid an egg when it cut her adrift. She's rebounded rather well, thank you.
