The Hottest Newscasters: Readers' Choice Edition -- Vote for Your Favorite

And now for this important update: The readers of Asylum have looked at the list of Top 20 Hottest Newscasters and demanded a recount. Some have said our editors don't know jack about what makes a hot, hard-hitting reporter.

In search of the truth, the Asylum editorial board has decided to take the nominations received for "best news-breaking babe" and put them up for a vote.

After the chads have been counted, we will send the winner Asylum's "Hottest Newscaster of the Year" award.

(By the way, we do care about brilliant and insightful journalism, but don't let that sway your vote.)

Jillian Barbieri is eye candy only - no credibility, voice like sandpaper. And what the hell is she doing on weekend football doing weathercasts? Erin Burnett looks and sounds like someone's daughter. Too much coffee, too much perkiness.

Who makes the rules here? The News Gods have determined, that all news babes have to wear those silly pastel outfits, have AA boobies if any, be incurably perky, and be totally out of touch with reality. Wassup with that?

Jill Nicolini!? If Ms. Nicolini is rolling up votes as the hottest TV news woman, then there's no way that most of the votes in this poll are from men. Sheesh, Jill Nicolini would give Keith Olberman a run for the money as among the homeliest and least hot journalists on the boob tube.

Norah O'Donnell, along with Willow Bay, WHO ISN'T EVEN ON THIS LIST, are far and away the best looking TV newswomen, as any guy with 20/20 vision could and would tell you. Sheesh.
