Ultimate fighter Chuck Liddell may be known for his swift kicks, take-down defense knockdown blows, yet he also has an Achilles heel: The smooth and creamy flavor of peanut butter. When he's working out, he rolls a wheelbarrow of rocks up a hill. When he's breaking his diet, he reaches for a spoon a jar of PB.
We asked Chuck to blindly taste a range of peanut butters, from the kooky white chocolate peanut butter to that after-school special, Jif.
Read his which PB won his Peanut Butter Smackdown.

Smucker's All lNatural Peanut Butter is the best. It's pure peanut butter with no ohter junk in it. Yes, it's oily on top but it should be mixed thoroughly before eating it. If you want peanut butter and peanut butter only, it's the right choice!

I vote Peter Pan. It's the best with Jiff coming in a close second. If PP did not get the bad rap last year with the Chinese trying to poison us, it would be #1!!

Kroger All Natural peanut butter, available both smooth and crunchy, is primo for flavor, value and nutrition. Most brands remove the peanut oil then add hydrogenated grease and corn syrup. Kroger is purely roasted peanuts and salt.

I've been eating peanut butter for over 82 years and I prefer Schmuckers Natural without salt - it's REAL PB with none of this additive stuff. If you want candy - eat candy, most Americans today want sugars in everything and our overweight generations are the result. My grandmother made her own peanut butter in the 1920s and 30s - from her own roasted peanuts. Mmmm, good! At one time I had to eat Peanut Butter and stale bread for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and in my flight lunch as I flew missions over Germany, because the Germans had bombed our supply ships in the harbor of Bari, Italy. Recently I've noticed that Schmuckers has been a little too oily, not like it used to be - thick and still tasty. I agree with Chuck about the oiliness, maybe that can be fixed.

The hands-down best natural peanut butter is Naturally More. It is available organic and in almond butter. It is available at Wal-Mart and most Publix. So good I eat it on a spoon for dessert!

Years ago, BYT for a lot of you, Oscar Meyer had a tube of Peanut Butter/Bacon spread. It loved it then and make my own PB/B sandwiches today. Oh yeah, another vote for Jif Extra Crunchy!!

If the ingredients on the peanut butter jar list vegtable shortening first, take note. Vegtable shortening is good old Crisco! It makes the peanuts in the blend spread smoother and the peanut flavot dominates. Try and find the pure peanut butter you can enjoy and stay away from vegtable lard for your health. I love peanut butter too buyt I had to get smart about it.
