Short guys have plenty of problems. At crowded concerts, they can never see the stage. When it comes to basketball, they can't dunk (respect to Mugsy Bogues). Tall women? Almost out of the question (props to Napoleon Bonaparte). But, even at 2'9" and under 20 pounds, Indian muscleman Aditya "Romeo" Dev isn't going to admit the chips are stacked against him. He's been working out, he's begun to draw crowds, and he can now lift 3.5 pound dumbbells.
Romeo is quoted as saying: "I've been training as a bodybuilder for the last two years, and by now I think I must be the strongest dwarf in the world.... I have always been fit but since I started working out, I have become famous for my strength."

wow, i'm a 6th grader (12 years old) and in math were learning proportions. if hes 20 lbs., and lifts 3.5 lb dumbells, if he were my wiehgt (100lb) he would he lifting 17.5 lb dumbells. ( 3.5/20lb = 17.5/100lb ) so the person who commented before, do the math, and figure out how much u'de be lifting, instead of talking shit about him.

Response for "Tom" and his 5yo who can lift 30 pounds already; there is no real comparison there unless your son has the same growth limiting disorder that caused the smaller Romeo to be a dwarf. Medically wise Romeos body does not posses the same capacity as a your child for muscle strength and development which is why his achievement is noteworthy and your childs is not. I find it amazing that Romeo not only has the ambition for this demanding activity, but that he has the dedication to follow through with it on equipment made for adults 3 and 4 times his size. Kudos and more "Power " to him......

It always seems that when someone does something that is praiseworthy, there is always some shithead out there to say something rotten about that person. I hope he holds the worlds record for weight lifting for a dwarf...and makes a million off of it! Oh and may he find a beautiful tiny woman for a wife if he isn't married already. Much happiness to him.
