Australia, the proud nation that gave us "Puppetry of the Penis," has now blessed the world with Tim Patch: an Australian artist who uses his penis as a paintbrush.

How impressive is this "Pricasso"? He's in the running to win top honors in the country's annual art awards competition. (Of course, U.K.'s Sun newspaper calls Patch's chances a "shlongshot.")

"Tired and sore" from producing several recent paintings, the artist's nude self-portrait is currently vying for the Archibald Prize, given each year for the best portrait painting. Patch entered the competition last year with a portrait of a plastic surgeon that he made using his member, but the judges were unimpressed.

Questions Raised: Is Patch's attention to detail limited by his, er, brush size? How toxic are the paints he uses and how do they affect his tool's, um, other duties?

The Takeaway: Art is in the eye of the beholder -- but that's not always a good thing.

Some examples of Pricasso's work after the jump.
