Ever wondered why you're still getting zits? Curious about why your breath smells like something might be dying inside of you?You don't say anything to your doctor, though, because you're too afraid that you're just being crazy, or worse, there might actually be something severely wrong.
Men tend to get macho when it comes to personal health. The truth is that most of the health problems you don't want to talk about are easily cured.
Hemorrhoids, bad breath, zits, STDs -- more often than not, these things can be addressed in a simple conversation with your doctor.
Don't worry. Your doctor won't tell anyone. He or she can't, legally.
Here are the key ailments guys don't bring up (but should). Read on; chances are you're going to find something you've clammed up about.

Embarrassing, these questions?! Erectile dysfunction is advertised on TV. The other mundane "afraid ofs" are inane" bad breath, body order, acne and warts! As for the STDs and HIV, there was mention of medications but NO mention of wearing condoms, the most effective barrier against these diseases! A trip to your local pharmacy would quickly resolve most of these generic problems. Weakness is the flip side of courage.

I have had many men ask me for health advice, since they are intimidated to ask doctors or their wives, for that matter!

I just had some work done on the lower half and it was painful beyhond words. I just hobbled into my 2 week post operation follow up and I still have a hard time sitting and walking. If you have to get them fixed do it early the longer you wait the more painful it is to heal and longer.. The doctor told me it the most painful operation out there and he laughed and said its worse then child birth and try that 2-3 times a day for a few weeks... It's not funny but I can read up on it and take all the news you can find out on the internet about it... It helps..

If my husband had gone to see a doctor when he first felt pain in neck he might be alive today. Need I say more.

If you would like to die before your time go into any hospital. You may go in with a wart on your ass, but when you have been there a while you will find that you have probably now have hepatitus C, Spinal meningitis, or whatever. Many of the nurses do not wash their hands between patients, and some of them are so stupid that they can't even follow the doctors orders, that is If anyone can decipher a doctors sloppy handwriting. If your doctor wants to put you in a hospital, find another doctor.

I too believe the medical profession will 'treat you do death'
Not just speculating either-I've been closely associated for over 30 years and seen much more than my share of preventable deaths.

treat you to death is right. i would have known my grandmother another 10 or 20 years if her doctor hadnt killed her with 10 years of prednisone. it's nothing new that prednisone eats your bones, with a quickness. labels now say dont take it for more than 6 months. the worst pill pushers in the world are the ones your mother taught you to trust.
love you grams!!

this pertains to Darin's comment made on tues the 18th of march... He could only address it as work done on his "lower half" He was not even able to say what was done. Was it circumcision, hemorioids, or whatever.... its annonomous and he still can not even mention it...

My experience with my doctor has been interesting. If I go see him about a new problem or asked questions of a new problem I am concerned about, I can't get him off the old problem. He will shush me or ignor my questions and only focus on the problem he currently treating me for. That kind of doctor. Who I think is typical of doctors at a popular HMO is a doctor I don't need. So it's not always easy to talk to your doctor in my experience.

I've been friends with my guy for about 10 years and we've been going out for about 4 months now. He's going through a terrible divorce where his wife cheated on him multiple times with several different partners and treated him like dirt. Now my sexual drive is constant and always available to him and he knows that. But he is simply not as sexually charged as I am and according to him, he never really has been. I am wondering if this has anything to do with what his wife has done to him and what I can do about. Sex is important to me physically and emotionally and I want him to know that it is that important to me without making him feel embarrased or obliged to "satisfy me." How do I do that?

usually men don't address to their doctors with such problems as zits, casual erectile dysfunction or even bad breath, cause they consider themselves "MACHO"- that stupid image imposed by TV-screen.
