As we prepare for St. Patrick's Day, we can think of no better way of lighting your fire than by thatching up a collection of the sweetest Celtic cuties we could find.
Lovely Lasses, Celtic Cuties
Heather Graham has rarely spoken to her Irish Catholic parents since roller skating naked in "Boogie Nights," and her career has also been pretty quiet as of late. However, if her upcoming science-fiction romantic comedy about teleportation, "HaveDreams, Will Travel" features plenty of naked teleportation, it might just be a hit.
Andrea Corr is the former frontwoman for The Corrs, the band that featured upbeat Celtic rock, her two hot sisters, and the always-ignored brother Jim. Her struggling solo career proves Irish-folk pop is only tolerable when there are at least three good-looking women playing the fiddle. One, it seems, just won't do.
Samantha Mumba is a Grammy-nominated Irish singer (her father is Zambian, hence the Mumba). She also acts, models, and wore this ridiculously hot dress to the premiere of "Spider Man 3."
With a name like "Kathy Ireland," you would have to assume this California-born model and entrepreneur has Irish heritage in her family somewhere. Her design and fashion company, Kathy Ireland Worldwide, is now a billion-dollar business. But for those not interested in Ireland's taste in home furnishings, it's her three Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition covers that will stand the test of time.
Sile Seoige is an Irish television presenter famous in the Emerald Isle for covering the St. Patrick's Day parade and hosting several shows you've never heard of. She also once appeared on a late-night Irish chat show hosted by two puppets, who asked her if she took baths with her sister. Classy.
Rose McGowan's father was Irish and her mother, French. Her first language? Italian. It's probably safe to say she has some identity issues. McGowan's parents were also members of the cult, "The Children of God," which resulted in McGowan emancipating herself from them when she was 15, although she presumably didn't divorce herself from her Irish heritage.
Rosanna Davison is the daughter of the Irish singer, Chris de Burgh (most famous for "Lady in Red"), who wrote the song "For Rosanna" as a tribute to his daughter. Rosanna became famous in her own right when she won Miss Ireland in 2003.
Mariah Carey, the five-time Grammy winner, is also half Irish -- not too shabby. Due to her mixed heritage (her father is African-American/Venezuelan) Carey was teased by her classmates while growing up.
With her natural red hair and freckles, who would have guessed Lindsay Lohan was Irish? Perhaps her infamous love of drinking is a bit of a tip-off.
While Mairead Nesbitt is currently the excitable fiddler on the Celtic Woman world tour, she's famous for dancing like Michael Flatley on speed while she plays. She recently told Austin 360 that "people from all walks of life attend our shows because Americans appreciate history and beauty." That's true. But the five Celtic sirens on stage in skimpy ball gowns probably have something to do with it, too.
Enough talking about your shillelagh, now show us something.

Your whole lead in is insulting! Whether the women are Irish or not, the inclusive noun "pieces" renders them as valueless, less than human.
