As we prepare for St. Patrick's Day, we can think of no better way of lighting your fire than by thatching up a collection of ten of the sweetest Celtic cuties we could find. Check out our gallery and then vote for one of your favorites below.
Lovely Lasses, Celtic Beauties
Although new to fame, Vanessa Hudgens has already managed to have two nudity scandals, one with naked photographs, one of the video variety. She is one-fourth Irish and also part Spanish, Chinese, Native American and Filipino.
Lovely Lasses, Celtic Beauties
Mischa Barton is probably most famous for her DUIs and role as a lesbian bad-girl on "The O.C." She is half-Irish and half-English, which explains her love of Guinness and desire to colonize the entire world.
Lovely Lasses, Celtic Beauties
Kristen Bell is the Irish-American pixie and certified nerd-babe from "Veronica Mars." Bell went to a Catholic high school (where she was voted best looking) before going to to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she wasn't.
Lovely Lasses, Celtic Beauties
Samantha Mumba is a Grammy-nominated Irish singer (her father is Zambian, hence the Mumba).
Lovely Lasses, Celtic Beauties
A former Miss Ireland, Amanda Brunker is now a newspaper columnist and an aspiring novelist. A petition was started online titled "Amanda Brunker is a Cow" after Amanda referred to the people of Dungarvan as "Clannish Yokels." It's received 94 signatures.
Lovely Lasses, Celtic Beauties
Voted Miss Ireland in 2004, Natasha Ni Gairbheith was the first Miss Ireland to be fluent in Irish. That's right, Irish, a little known Goidelic language spoken in her hometown of Gweedare on the northwest coast of Donegal. We know what you're thinking and the answer is no, Gweedare isn't named after an Elvish city from "Lord of the Rings."
Lovely Lasses, Celtic Beauties
Heather Graham has rarely spoken to her Irish Catholic parents since roller skating naked in "Boogie Nights," and her career has also been pretty quiet as of late. However, if her upcoming science-fiction romantic comedy about teleportation, "HaveDreams, Will Travel" features plenty of naked teleportation, it might just be a hit.
Lovely Lasses, Celtic Beauties
Andrea Corr is the former frontwoman for The Corrs, the band that featured upbeat Celtic rock, her two hot sisters, and the always-ignored brother Jim. Her struggling solo career proves Irish-folk pop is only tolerable when there are at least three good-looking women playing the fiddle. One, it seems, just won't do.
Lovely Lasses, Celtic Beauties
With a name like "Kathy Ireland," you would have to assume this California-born model and entrepreneur has Irish heritage in her family somewhere. Her design and fashion company, Kathy Ireland Worldwide, is now a billion-dollar business. But for those not interested in Ireland's taste in home furnishings, it's her three Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition covers that will stand the test of time.
Lovely Lasses, Celtic Beauties
Sile Seoige is an Irish television presenter famous in the Emerald Isle for covering the St. Patrick's Day parade and hosting several shows you've never heard of. She also once appeared on a late-night Irish chat show hosted by two puppets, who asked her if she took baths with her sister. Classy.

You have Jenny McCarthy and no Brooke Burke? Most of these people have very little Irish in them.

I can't believe you left off Lynda Carter of Wonder Woman fame. She's half Irish, half Mexican, and completely gorgeous, even now.

Would anyone know why Irish Step Dancers don't use their arms while dancing? I've always been curious. I thought a long time ago it was forbidden by the English (I guess) as it was thought to be a way for the Irish to secretly communicate with each other, and conspire against the English. Anyone?

For beautiful Irish lassies across the decades, Maureen O'Hara remains unrivaled.

If Jennifer Connely knew I existed she would love me as much as I love her. The fact that I am 70 years old should not matter. In time she will grow older and all will be well. It could be a match. All I lack are good looks and money. But, I am adorable and that should stand for a lot.
Gosh, I think the only fan letter I ever wrote in my life was to Jennifer, and I have even met many, many celebrities. I suppose the Poor Darlin' will just miss the boat and I will be out of her life forever. Still, I do wish her well and she will always have my vote. God bless ya Darlin Girl. xoxo

Since everyone is writing in their own opinion on who should be identified as the most beautiful celtic woman, why not Shannon McNally, struggling singer/song writer currently from New Orleans.

It STILL should be Roma Downey! (if the name of the "contest" were different)! She may not be in the headlines like some of the other women, but given the headlines, who would want to be associated with some of them? She has talent that's far above and beyond many of the actresses listed above, when all it takes today is for a girl to make porno, flash the public, or get a DUI to become an overnight sensation...if that's what you want to call bad behavior.
But what I'd really like to know why the word "Piece" is in the title? Are we still that morally corrupt, that a woman can still be labeled a "piece of (l)ass" and people don't think anything of it?
