So, you're a desperate Canuck who just ponied up good cash to bring a mail-order bride out to the Saskatchewan wilderness.

But (Surprise!) she isn't happy.

Before you demand that refund, check out an Edmonton site that aims to help foreign-born wives transition into their new Canadian lives. (That would be the life of a bacon-and-suds-swillin' subservient wife?)

"We were seeing more and more foreign brides coming to us asking for help," said San San Sy, of Changing Together, a center for immigrant women in Edmonton, which helped launch www.lawforforeignbrides.ca.

"The dream is for them to access the information before they come [to Canada]."

Questions raised: We've asked before whether you think this kind of marriage-to-go is good for the women, but what do you think the men get out of the deal? Is it worth it to spend the rest of your life with someone you meet so randomly?
