The word is out: According to CO-ED Magazine, MGM studios is planning yet another remake...of "Robocop." Forgive us for not jumping for joy, but does the world really need a new "Robocop" movie? Are there no new films ideas out there?

Well if MGM is going to do this, they could at least think outside the box. Here are some ways "Robocop" could be reborn. Just don't blame us if they actually happen.

-- "Robocop the Musical." Peter Weller returns for an all-singing, all-dancing robotic extravaganza, co-starring John Travolta in drag (just for the hell of it).

-- "Robocop" the foreign art film. Subtitled, shot in black and white, eight hours long and starring Marion Cotillard.

-- "Robocop" the Disney animated feature. A classic, hand-drawn 1950s style colorful freak-out, with some family-friendly robotic death to keep the fans happy.
