Getting a lap dance is all fun and grind until someone (almost) loses an eye. After being poked in the eye with a high heel during a "no holds barred" session with a dancer in November, New York securities trader Stephen Chang is suing the members-only Hot Lap Dance Club, claiming he "sustained serious personal injuries." A manager at the club said he was surprised by the suit, and that he hadn't heard of any accidents at the club.
Question raised: We've never really thought of lap dancing as a dangerous sport until we considered other potential pitfalls, such as the "breast asphyxiation" or "rug burn." (We don't have to explain how those happen, do we?)
What are some other strip-club injuries that might make for a good lawsuit?

Seriously John? Okay...they might have bad reputations, but rarely have I met a stripper that had no class. And as for a disgrace? They have a job. They support their own. They pay taxes. They aren't sitting in line at their local welfare office asking for a handout because they don't need it. Aside from that, they have more talent than you have. Have you ever seen what they do? Geeze...maybe you should go get stuffed and quit worrying about someone who enjoys their job.
Related to the actual article, they should really talk to the girl and find out what happened. Because unless that guy was doing something he shouldn't have been, nothing would have happened. Being that they wear those types of shoes, they KNOW that they have to be careful where they put their feet. Duh...

eventhough I don't agree with women carying themselves in such a manner, please be careful where you throw stones because thoughts are as bad as actions and I'm sure no one on the face of this earth have completely pure thoughts all the d*** time. I have to say it is a shame that people always have some terrible things to say about people when they don't know who they really are. There is a story that was once told about a woman who was a no good drug addict that slept around to get her drugs and her neighbor criticized and belittled her for it. One day there was a loud schreeching noise in the street and all the neighbors were in disarray so the critical neighbor went out side to see what was going on, someone was holding her 6 year old child in their arms and crying, they told her that he was almost hit by a car and that someone pushed him out of the way and saved his life. The mother wanted to know who would do such a thing, she wanted to thank the individual but the person holding her child said sobbing terribly,"you can't". You see the person that pushed the child out of the way was hit buy the car instead and unfortunately that person was lying in the street dead. The woman pushed her way though the crowd tosee who would do such a thing and to her suprize it was that no good of a drug addic or what you would call a discrace that gave her life to save that child.

I'm guessing John C has not been in a strip club in his life! I work in four and though there are some dancers that are nasty, most of them are not and just doing a job. I can also say that a majority of them make in the $100,000 range for a year of work. They put in about 24 hours a week to make that kind of money. I'll also bet that most of the dancers I work with have more class than John C ever will!

anyway this guy won't get a thing probaly but another black eye and maybe some broken ribs because some of the people that own these types of clubs are some pretty rough charactors. He probably should just go on and go to the doctor get his eye fixed and leave them people alone.

As I contemplate the accident my mind can't grasp the logistics of aquiring the injury. High heel to eye? I can see elbow to eye or knee to eye or toe to eye maybe, but heel to eye? It would be interesting to see demonstration.

Sara~~ strippers DON'T have class, John C is right. And most of them ARE standing in the welfare line with their 15 kids with different daddies and no clue who they are. IF they happen to not be standing in the welfare line, they are cracked out and don't give a crap. They are homewrecking whores, there to tempt men and persuade them to do horrible things. Men will be men....and whores will be whores.

I think it's funny how people like to talk down about strippers and others in any form of adult entertainment. If there wasn't a demand there wouldn't be a supply simple rules of economics. Not to mention I like the fact that a strip club is the place the pigheaded business men that don't want to pay women what they are worth go to and drop six figures for lap dances. Also take a look at politicians that keep getting caught up in sex scandals... it's generally the ones who are most outspoken against things immoral so I’m sure John C is just too embarrassed to sue for his rug burn injury.

Wow... dumb lawsuit. She probably slipped, yes, he probably got jabbed as well. But wow.... It's his own fault, people should sign waviers before being allowed in strip clubs if they are going to be dumb about it.
As for stripping, it is not the "ideal" job but it is a job. People work it for many different reasons. Some are nasty, some have no class, though some have more class than most people. Do what it takes to get by with business being what it is and job security being what it is.
Anyone who mocks another's job really doesn't have anything worth saying. You are a disgrace to yourself and should think twice before posting anything, or even talking in public.
If anyone is offended by this, you can go play in traffic for all I care. Ciao!

To John C.
As the mother of a dancer, let me tell you something. My daughter is educated, clean, honest, pays her taxes, and pays her own way. She makes good money in her chosen profession. At first I was concerned about what people would think but then I realized that what she does is not dirty, or degrading. It is a job just like any other job. It is people like you that make it sound like it is demeaning, because obviously, you have never been to a decent establishment where there are nice clean women who dance for the entertainment of others. Quit hanging out in the trashy clubs and spend a little more to see the real women who dance for a living. I bet my daughter makes more money than you and works less hours and has a whole lot more fun at her job. Except when she has to put up with close-minded people like you. Not all dancers are hookers! I am proud of my daughter for using her dance skills to put herself through college and for paying her own way. Open your mind not your mouth!
