Sometimes all you want to do is have a soak in the tub. However, you also want to watch sports on TV, play darts and drink heavily at your local pub. How can you reconcile these seemingly incongruous scenarios?Britain's John Clarke seems to have found the answer: Installing a virtual pub in his bathroom, where he can now get whiskey on drip-feed, have a bubble bath, munch on bar snacks, and play video games.
Isn't it pretty depressing to sit in the tub, get drunk and watch sports by yourself? Clark says it's not really a problem. Even with the obvious risk of having electrical appliances near running water, his friends have started coming over to spend time in his bathroom for drinking sessions.
What's the price? It may be your girlfriend. Clarke's lady, 28-year-old Jessica Cockerell, moved out of their home after the tub-pub had been in operation for just four months, saying, "I had enough when he wouldn't let me in to get ready to go out."
