Martin Rooney, trainer of the 2007 IFL World Team Champions, has a new exercise guide, "Training For Warriors," that's instructive, fascinating and a wee bit off-putting.
Take a look at the exercise on the left, and you'll realize that you'd better be extremely comfortable with your manhood and your trainer before you attempt any of these moves.
Click through our gallery to see some of Rooney's innovative and exhausting exercises, along with our commentary. (We're gonna get our butts kicked for this.)

are you kidding me? " Ultimate Fighting may look like two nimble nutjobs beating the crap out of each other, but the sport actually requires quite a bit of athletic prowess." mixed martial arts absolutely takes years of training, devotion, conditioning only to ignorant people it may look like two "nutjobs beating the crap outa each other" i dare you to pick up a pair of boxing gloves and hit a bag for a 5 minute round without gassing out, let alone not get punched in the face.

They just said it takes "quite a bit of athletic prowess". Apparently, what it does NOT take is reading and comprehension skills. And even if it does take skill, it still looks stupid.

I've seen some of the worst athletes competing in UFC. And there are hundreds of cases where guys trained for only a few months and were already competing professionally. What other pro sport can you say that about? None. Its not top athletes.

Outrageous! The concept that our body 'is a temple' comes from Scripture and has been pirated by this site in a most outrageous way! At least Scripture should be attributed as the first to use that imagery.

Oh man. Our body is our temple. I think ultimate fighting is the least of our worries as far as that goes. There is a man carrying a baby. Complain about that. Some people aren't always great at a full time job. People should stop judging them and appreciate it as a sport.

Looks to me like some liberal pansy is writing some garbage article about something he knows nothing about. What's with all the ambiguously gay jokes? Seems like 5th grade humor to me. Tell you what, try and make fun of one of those guys and watch what happens to you.

As a great fighter myself, I enjoyed watching all kinds of mix martial art fightings. But after watching UFT for so many years, I conclude that most of these UFT fighters must be gay. I am not anti-gay. I am just observing that as a straight man, there is no way you would want to enjoy grabbing and holding a man like that. Therefore most UFT fighters are gay men.

Na Alot of thoes guys have probably been doing many different types of fighting and or sports over the years (wresteling, Football, boxing around as kids..) w/e... I would imagin there could be sum gay guys in the sport (how big of an ego killer would that be knowing a gay guy kicked your ass haha..)
but in the since that they have probably been doing many different types of contact sports or they've been fighting for a long time.. you begin to get comfortable around that kind of contact with another guy with out even thinkng about "sexual" contact at all... so to be trying to say "hey from a straight guys point of view that guys gay" you really cant say he is... for just because he touched a guys ass while fighting in the ring doesnt make him gay...
ive been in martial arts for 8 yrs now and ya i think about my training and its in close corters with another guy but how am i to get any better without getting down n dirty covered in sweat grabing another guy throwing him around a room.. you wont get any better at any of it without actually doing it.. (for the record im straight lol)
