Get ready, daytime TV producers, for a story so unbelievable your skin will be crawling as you're calling to request an interview with these lovers.A father and daughter in Australia (who had been separated for 30 years) recently announced they're a couple with a child. To top things off, a court report revealed that the loving dad/boyfriend served time for armed robbery, and the couple had a previous child who died.
In a news-magazine interview, the daughter/girlfriend asserts that she and her dad are "in this relationship as consenting adults," and asks viewers for "a little bit of respect and understanding."
Questions raised: Is this a case of "live and let live?" Is there any way their kids can overcome this?

May God have mercy on their souls. We're to feel compassion when a brother or sister have veered off the tracks but my stars they've having a feild day. That father needs to be horse whipped and she defogged. It's clear that daddy has the reins and is driving them both head long into HELL! And apparently nobodys jumping in to head them off. They need counseling and pray and a divorce lawyer. Their other attempts to have kids didn't work and this wont either it's not GOD'S WILL!!!!!

Typical behavior of Gentiles, matters not the continent, incestuous relations are prevalent among these species of idiots, whether in a trailer camp or outback! Comes to mind a close correlation between their American counterparts that forcefully and murderously thrived off the land of the American Indian and the slave labor of Blacks. Sound familiar, reminisces of good old Dixie land, plantations, forced labor, denial of education, nonexistent healthcare, rape and pedophilia............ Oh well, tell the Aborigines to "get over it".

Aaron, in case you haven't figured it out yet, this isn't a spot for you to place your own personal one sided spin on history. Yes, America's early history was filled with a lot of bad things and bad people, but it was also filled with good people who fought for good. This article is not so you can rant and rave about Aborigines who have NOTHING to do with this article other than being from the same country. If you ARE from American and you hate it that much, why don't you leave and go find yourself a country with a pure history.....o right....there is none.
This is about two sick people who obviously have had bad upbringings and many personal and mental issues. It is unnatural for a father and daughter to have sex. Dog breeders won't do that because the puppies will come out deformed, with mental diseases, or not pure to show. Imagine how a human child would come out. Not to mention the fact that they have to live with daddy also being grandpa.

we're not in arkansas anymore kids! ppl can trash talk americans all they want, but it's becoming more and more prevalant that we're not the only one's with issues. at least we're not in denial about it. hell, we have a whole region of our great nation that EMBRACES the maddness. as for the way they're treating the aboriginals down there: it's sad, tragic and totally uncalled for. but like i said, this just goes to show how much america is like other great nations. but at least our natives are well taken care of! well, at least better than those guys!

This is disturbing and is totally irresponsible being that science has more than proven that children of incest have an extremely high risk for severe problems and congenital birth defects. High school science class should have clarified that as a rule of thumb, you have to spread the genes! An incestuous relationship is about as irresponsible as doing drugs while pregnant. There is a reason that incest is a universal taboo...

First off, hybrid vigor is why anything has lived to survive an ever changing world. Line-breeding/incest concentrates the good genes, but more often than not it concentrates the bad ones.
And as for God, isn't in the old Testament with Lot and his daughters? The children of those couplings became the founders of nations. Still not saying that this is right but condemning people to hell is a little drastic. Besides, the only one that can judge is God himself. Just a little something to think about...still, it doesn't sit right with me...it's just...wrong.

This is one of the most disgusting articles I've ever read because they really believe that it's okay and they also expect respect and understanding??? Are you kidding me? This is worse than watching Jerry Springer bs on tv.... at least on Jerry, you know most of it is made up, this is real. These two should be locked up with the key thrown away. Didn't the article say that the two of them were seperated for 30 years? So maybe they were seperated when the girl was really young, met 30 years later, fell in love, then found out they were father/daughter, and decided that their love was more important than what other people say. Maybe those of you who are getting so offended should try giving out some compassion. I personally don't agree with their relationship, but I think it's pretty damn brave of them to step up and let other people know that they're in love. Oh, and for you offended Christians, what was that line that came from your savior? Oh right, 'let thee without sin cast the first stone.'

I've heard of brothers and sisters, but fathers and daugters are completely different! The father is supposed to love his daughter in a family sort of way. To have an intimate relationship with your own blood is wrong. Being seperated for 30 years may prove to be the reason why they responded with this behavior. The father has probably changed after being convicted, but still...They should be in a more family loving way...Where's the mother in all this?! This story is like a Greek myth...Incest everywhere!

Let it be known that it is scientifically proven that children incest relationships are most likely born with birth defects. Secondly if they ever have children I feel really sorry for them because they might teach them that it is actually okay to have sexual relationships with a sibling or even a parent and for that they should be charged with intent to do harm or something like that. The father is sick because he actually let his daughter love him so he should be put away because he is the one with no sense of family morals. Disgusting.
