Got a Need for Speed? Trapster Smells the Pigs Coming

Driving at illegal speeds is one of life's great temptations. But, putting aside the moral and medical reasons not to do it, there is at least one other major obstacle: the cops.

Not anymore. CO-ED Magazine brings news of the Trapster, a GPS system that tells you when you're approaching a police radar and when the road is clear for you to relive that "Dukes of Hazzard" fantasy.

Still, we at Asylum aren't sure you need to resort to technology to solve this problem. Here are our fail-safe ways to get out of speeding tickets:

-- Say: "Sorry officer, but my wife is having my baby and my girlfriend is the midwife." If he's a guy, he'll sympathize.

-- Drive the Batmobile. They'll never catch you.

-- Move to Germany -- no speed limits on the Autobahn!

So lemme get this straight... you're cruising down the highway at a mediocre 90 miles an hour, and you're getting text messages telling you there is a speed trap ahead? I don't think you have to worry so much about getting caught speeding as you do keeping your car on the road while you try to read the text message.
