Look, we all know that a person is much more than just another pretty face. But please, Miss Surrey is not even close to being perfect. She can be arrogant, rationalize all she wants to make herself feel better, but nothing is going to take away from the fact that she is obese. She is her own worst enemy. She is putting herself at high risk for heart attack and diabetes. She needs to start having proper eating habits, and start exercising. Only a very few women have a pituitary glandular problem. Everyone else is not eating properly and exercising.

I'm oh so confused. Let's get this straight, I am in no way bashing Miss Surrey. Matter of fact I say hooray for Miss Surrey!! However, her body language contradicts her vocal language. In her pictures she holds her arm across her lower abdomen in a position that is both protective and shielding. This is not a sign of a person who feels comfortable and or confident with herself. I'm not buying the whole "I'm happy with me" bit. For the people "concerned" with Chloe's health, I would say, outwardly she looks very radiant, very healthy. She's only 17 so chances are she's in fairly good health. I certainly wouldn't call her obese. Funny, but I only see one chin when I look at her...to the person who wrote more chins then....you know the rest. So kudos to her for her courage to stand up to the masses....err is it asses? Same difference. Good luck in the finals Chloe AKA Miss Surrey.
On a different note....Karen, I am probably what YOU would consider "one of those skinny, gold diggers." Seeing as how I'm a "waif-like" size 8 *chuckles* In reality, I'm anything but a user or a gold digger or heartless or any of the MANY other derogatory names you used to define an average weight woman. Oh if you need more stats on me I'm 5' 7" and have a 34 C bust size. Completely NATURAL, by the way. I've been with my husband for 14 years, we have 2 children together. I have been 100% faithful to him in every way. We both work. Everything we have, we have together. I think you're a sad, misguided, insecure, bitter and jealous person. That's exclusively for you Karen, not every woman who is a size 14. (That's my disclaimer to you so you don't take what I'm writing out of context.) I sure as hell hope you don't push that kind of garbage attitude about "skinny" women, onto any of your three kids. I too have had a lot of experience with "skinny" woman and "plus" sized women. It's not their weight that made them act the way you describe, it's their personality. I've known a couple VERY promiscuous and not so nice to their men "plus" sized women that would make anyone blush, with their behavior.
PS Your attitude, pretty much makes me sick. Seek professional help quickly.

Congrats Chloe, that's really awesome that you won. As for you Karen...I can telll someone is alittle bitter. I have absolutely no clue why you would get on here and rant about how aweful thin women are. Any compliment you gave Chloe was overshadowed by your degrading and offensive rant. By the way you carried on I assume you have met every thin female in the entire world...so what's my personality like?? I hate reading articles like this because it always turns into a battle between fat and thin, which it should not be. I am thin and do not feel any reason to bash or stereotype every single person who is heavier than I am. Feel free to get back to me with all the studies and data you have collected proving every thin woman alive is a goldigging loser, and I will appologize (for nothing).
P.S. I am 16, naturally thin, do not starve myself and do not plan on marrying some rich man so that I can sit around and mooch for the rest of my life. Karen, if only your personality matched your "wonderful lifestyle" Have a great day.

She has a lovely face, and I'm glad that she's happy with her body. BUT...her flab is not attractive in the least. She'd be beautiful if she lost about 40 pounds, though.

It's possible to be large and attractive, of course. But this girl is simply out of shape.

She got cellulite on her arms and even though she propped her saggy breasts to the point that there's a fold atop of them, they are still pointing way south.
Plus as someone else said, her face is nothing to look at.
And for the lady that talks about real womanly curves - well the other girls are actually way more curvy than the fattie.
See, "curves" are not fat rolls, curves are the waist to hip ratio.
And as far as the boobs go, plenty of the other girls have boobs just as big if not bigger than miss fattie here.
And unlike her saggy breasts, theirs are still perky, as they should be for someone who is 17-20

You made my day, Chloe. MEN like women with curves. Skinny women are mostly admired by other women. Hope you win!

CelluliteQueen - YEAH it's easy to be happy when you are thinking about how hard your heart is pumping to get blood through your clogged vessels - it's easy to be happy when you can't even touch your toes, run to the mailbox, or walk up a flight of stairs without feeling like you just ran a marathon. It's easy to be happy when you order a large meal at McDonalds and add a 'diet coke' on (as if that helps any - oh geez the lack of calories in this coke is going to somehow balance that double quarter pounder). It's easy to be happy when you never SHARE food.
Sometimes happiness is due to pure ignorance, and in the case of fata$$e$ happiness is due to pure stupidity (because all the facts of obesity are out there already).

This is ridiculous; i am a size 6 and i have more cardiovascular capabilies than some of my size 2 friends. Just because you're thinner, doesn't mean you're in better shape.

There should be limitations on how much health insurance a fat person can get - either that or be liable for the health conditions that are due to the lifestyle they choose. And yes - for MOST fat people, it's a lifestyle, not due to some glandular problem.

She needs to be careful when swimming to avoid harpooning! Give me a break, she is fat! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I do not contest their opinion. I just don't share it.

I think men should have to wear skin tight pants so that we can all gock at the size or lack of size of their penises. Half of the jerks out there (guys like Tim) would all run away and hide because they wouldn't measure up to what women really want turn the tables a little.
