Okay, the one where the reporter gets hit by the plane wing is not funny. That pilot dipped intentionally and I would be highly surprised if that guy actually lived through that!

So the wrestler used an open hand slap. Fact is, the wrestler assaulted a reporter. Therefore he should be behind bars. Wrestling is nothing more than a circus act. The outcome has been planned and rehearsed long before the show is put on.

That wrestler part was news? That happened years ago.
Someone questioned one of the original astronauts (Neil Armstrong I believe) about the moon landing claiming it was fake, and the astronaut punched him in the face. Is that assault? Obviously not, since he wasn't charged. The same goes for the wrestler.

I still wonder why John Stossel never filed assault and battery charges.

"Dr. D" David Schultz slapped John Stossel in 1984. This aired on 20/20 as a report on wrestling secrets.. Supposedly he was told to slap Stossel by WWF officials. Stossel sued the WWF & they settled for $425,000.
Ron, I'd like to see you try and wrestle, then you'd see how much of a "circus act" it really is. The finishes are scripted, but so are many boxing matches (i.e. using tomato cans to artificially build a big win record & the whole thing of)& people still refer to that as a sport.

Would have been cool had the reporter had pepper spray and shot that punk wrestler in the face and kicked the crap out of him. Real tough guy wasn't he? Had that been me it would have been my mission to beat his ass with a ball bat when he wasn't expecting it. What a sorry loser

Stossell asked a stupid Question actually it wasnt a question it was an accusation and David Schultz showed him what it was like to be clipped by a pro wrestler....Stossell should have known better and invited that little demonstration.
Fake or not, there is not one thing about pro wrestling thats EZ.
From Falling correctly to open hand smacks to body slams and suplexes, these guys take more bumps and hard knocks then stuntmen on a nightly bases and it does take its toll
Stossell a man who is smart should have been a little bit smarter

Tod, Most of the Pro wrestlers I knew and knew of are very smart people...they understood how to market themselves, how to sell out shows...Pro Wrestling alumni include: Doctors, Business owners, Teachers, former olympians, An ocean salvage specialist, Lawyers, Actors,Football greats, Cattle Ranchers, Governors and a US President....They are not all hicks by any means....They entertain millions while putting thier bodies on the line each and every night...David Schultz they guy who clipped Stossell became a well known bounty hunter....so quit knocking wrestlers before someone tells you that people who spell thier name TOD instead of Todd are retarded
