Billionaires Don't Prefer Blondes

While the famous 1953 movie starring Marilyn Monroe clearly stated "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes," it seems that billionaires are not among said gentlemen.

The "experts" at Love@Lycos -- the dating arm of Lycos -- have analyzed the hair color of the wives of the world's richest men and determined that 62 percent of them were brunettes. Only 22 percent of the world's top billionaires married ladies with fair hair. Lagging in the rear were women with black hair, and redheads, unsurprisingly (given their low numbers among the general population) came in last.

Questions raised: What does that mean for all of us non-billionaires? Will we be more likely to find a massive fortune if we dump the bottle-blond we've been going with for the past few years? What hair color is most favored among ultra-rich (and wildly attractive) women?
