Contempt of court just got a lot more contemptuous.

Defense lawyer Adam Reposa was convicted of contempt for simulating masturbation in the middle of the courtroom while standing before Judge Jan Breland during a trial in March.

Reposa evidently was looking at the female judge while giving a dry demonstration of his meat-beating technique during a drunk-driving case.

Reposa's lawyer had asked
visiting State Judge Paul Davis for just one day in jail for the act, but Davis took a hard line and said it was his "honor to uphold the integrity of the judicial process" by giving Reposa 90 days. Reposa had fluctuated in his testimony between apologizing for the act and defending it as part of a zealous defense for his client.
