While many experts, including Asylum's resident physician, say smoking weed stunts your mental faculties, the amount of creativity stoners put into building bongs is still pretty impressive. Pipes built to look like the Starship Enterprise, fashioned out of fresh apples or built right into a gas mask are just a few examples of the ingenuity unleashed by the munchies.
Of course, like our local head shop, we don't recommend using this equipment for anything other than tobacco.
But as April 20 ("4/20") approaches, at least take a spin through some of the most impressive pipes that smokers have come up with through the years.

I like that alien one, If I smoked weed, or actually anything at all, that'd be the pipe I'd use. Also that N64 controller is great.

Will someone please tell me what the date 4/20 has to do with anything? I keep hearing that date and it associated with Weed. My son says it was Hitlers birthday (that's a thought).. What does it have to do with anything?

4/20, I don't really remember what I heard about it.... but originally it was april 20th because of a hippie- type event that happened at some school a long time ago where everyone smoked weed.
Also, it was the time that a lot of kids finished up with school and sports and such and afterwards would get together and smoke around 4:20.
Now basically april 20th is a day where there's no oxygen left from everyone smoking weed, but I know a bunch of ppl who smoke at 4:20 almost every day. o_O

I got kicked out of school for smoking, only I hadn't started smoking yet, so my friends and me decided to have a smoke-in on my brithday, 4/20/1971, we where going to skip school, only word got out of our plans and instead of just a few of us walking out, the whole school walked out, we ended up partying in the school parking lot where the buses unloaded. We had been outside about 1/2 hr when we found out every school in town had also walked out. There was to many students to deal with, we threw together a quick list of demands, smoking area for students that sort of thing. And all ended well. Now when ever anyone mentions 4/20 I giggle to myself in memory of that wild day.

4 20 is a day that has many differnt meanings either being the police code used to call marijuana/drug also a famous reggae band would smoke weed at 4 20 everyday right before there shows/practises. this day is also hitlers birthday. 420 is the approximate ammount of chemicals and bud...there good tho better then cigs...so basiclly 4 20 has just become a day were all the blazers toqers or stoners come together to enjoi weed and get really high. its a great and amazing day and should have as much reputation as anyother. thanks

4-20 is the police code for a drug response. they call it in over their little radio, its police codes-187 is murder 420 is drugs/marijuana and so on.....at least thats what ive known it to be, and it was hitlers birthday too!
