Weed smokers in Colorado haven't been this happy since Hunter S. Thompson ran for sheriff of Aspen.CO-ED magazine announced that at the University of Colorado's annual 4/20 celebration, over 10,000 students showed up to get high in the quad...and the police didn't even hand out citations.
"There's no way our 12 to 15 officers are going to be able to deal with a crowd of 10,000. We just can't do strong enforcement when we're outnumbered 700 or 800 to one," CU police Cmdr. Brad Wiesley said.
Ten thousand smokers can devastate a city's supply of Cap'n Crunch. Here are our predictions for more fallout from CU's smoke-a-thon.
-- 4/21 becomes the unofficial, annual Sit Around and Watch "Saved by the Bell" Day.
-- A massive increase in applications from out-of-state students.
-- At least a full point drop in CU's average GPA.

By legalize it now!
10,000 people get together and smoke out and that's the only thing that they can report. Not about all the fighting and problems and people arrested. Because it didn't happen! Now,
imagine if 10,000 people got together to drink? Legalize marijuana now!

yeah lets legalize marijuana! Thats what we need a bunch of 15-22 year old people driving cars, operating heavy machinery and hunting while high... sounds like a great idea to me

In these times when truth is regarded as an unimportant "special interest" -- even in matters of war and global human survival -- this act of humble peaceful anarchy is something all Americans can be proud of.
