No longer is the sandwich confined to stifling restrictions of American cheese and whole wheat toast with the occasional slice of tomato and bacon.The Grilled Cheese Invitational, a series of competitive culinary events recently held in Los Angeles, pushed the boundaries of sandwich-making as we know it.
