The Somela clothes dehydrator from Japan solves a critical problem for people with no room for a clothes dryer (or people who wet their pants before going out on the town). It pulls the water out of your clothes one item at a time, takes three to five minutes per piece, and costs you only $173.
Here's the catch: You'll have to hold the items while they're dehydrating. Why? We're not sure, but we assume that the Japanese have built robots to take care of this task so you don't risk being sucked into the machine and dehydrated.
Added fun fact: Technically, you can also make nori -- seaweed sushi wraps -- in the dehydrator.
