A new interactive game called Foldit may help doctors unlock biological mysteries ranging from Alzheimer's disease to vaccines.

Foldit allows players to feel like they're playing a regular video game. Meanwhile, the shapes they construct will help scientists to understand all the possible protein-strand permutations that cause human cells to malfunction.
