Concerned that your whiskey is a little too watery? The unbelievably intrepid whiskey drinkers at Taisin have come up with a $1,300 Ice Mold to create 55 mm (about two inch) ice balls for your drinking pleasure. Use the Power of Thermodynamics to Cool Your Drink: A regular ice cube melts in your drink too quickly, watering down your Black Label. According to serious drinkologists, spheres melt more slowly because they have less surface area.
Why not just store the booze in the fridge? (OK, forget we asked.)
Of course, you could also use the ice orb as the center for a deadly snowball, but we would never encourage you to fight dirty.
Question raised: What's the best way to chill your liquor?

There is a better way and by far less expensive... is called the Piet Hein drink cooler it doesn't water down the whiskey at all and it also LOOKS really cool (I bought it for my husband this year). This is it: http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/kitchen/8b57/
Now, if we are talking one of those guys that are still "kids" at heart, you may want a Lego Ice Tray...
