Women always seem to rank a sense of humor near the top of the list of attributes they find attractive. This maxim is regularly supported by the funny but unfortunate-looking guys who land model types.

But knock-knock jokes aren't helping anybody knock boots. Instead, it takes a concoction of humor and arrogance, claims seduction-advice writer David DeAngelo.

In a column for SoSuave.com, DeAngelo writes:

"I believe that when a man is Cocky & Funny, he triggers a primal response inside of women that creates an instant emotional Attraction."

He goes on to give these directions:

"1. Take an arrogant comment.

2. Add humor to make it funny.

3. Feel free to use this combination when poking fun at the woman you're dealing with."

While making fun of a woman you're attempting to bed may seem like a surefire way to wake up alone, DeAngelo claims the following are foolproof examples of how to a seduce by being "Cocky & Funny":

"Let's say you're walking down the street with a woman and she says 'Wow, I really like those shoes in the window' and you answer 'You would.'

Here's another one:

Let's say you're talking to a woman who's wearing a pair of shoes with four inch heels, and you say 'So what, are you about four feet tall without the shoes?'"

Apparently DeAngelo's material consists of snappy shoe remarks, but you get the point. He goes on to say that this approach demonstrates confidence, comfort, intelligence and a sense of humor. What do you think?
