As international trendsetters, we always knew superheroes like Catwoman looked rad in skintight rubber. Turns out the finest fashion designers agree. (Or at least, the ones we now think of as the best.)
In the new exhibit Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy, New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art explores the intersection of superheroes and fashion (somewhere near the corner of nerdville and fancytown). The 60 or so outfits -- including movie costumes, avant-garde haute couture, and high-performance sportswear -- will be on display through September.
