What goes best with steaming hot coffee? How about scantily clad and easily scalded women? Baristas at two coffee bars in Washington State's Bonney Lake serve their roasts the way nature intended: au naturale (or almost).At Cowgirls Espresso, employees wear only swimsuits, and a colleague at Hot Chick-a-Latte was recently spotted wearing pasties. According to a Craigslist ad, it's part of the job description to be "extremely comfortable with your body" and "able to work in theme costumes, bikini, pasties, and aprons and not much more!!!" The ad goes on to say that baristas can make as much as $300 per day in tips. Screenshot after the jump.
After Tawnya McLavey's kids thought they were seeing a "naked lady" at one of the shops, the Bonney Lake resident protested by having a clothing drive this weekend for the girls working at the cafes. She says she doesn't have a beef with the places, per se; she just thinks they should be labeled "adults only."
Questions Raised: What other foods would be better served in a bikini? What's a comparable job in the service industry that a guy can get for $50 an hour?

The U.S. is one of the few countries in the world, except for Muslim counties that has anti-nudity laws. People in those counties don't run around naked although you may (probably will) see nudity at the beach. The point here is we think of the human, god given body, as dirty and nasty that needs covering up. And from what I read porno is the number one industry in the country. Some hypocracy.

Problem: When women show off their bodies, they inspire thoughts of lust in men.
A man who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery in his thoughts.
One of these days, a stalker will rape (perhaps murder) one of these women. His defense lawyer will argue that "she asked for it."
I don't agree with that defense, but that's what the lawyer will say.

Aren't there health codes against this type of stuff? I dig the idea but it doesn't seem very sanitary. The restaurant I worked at wouldn't even let us wear open toed shoes.

I take it your kids have not see you in a swim suit, maybe you should tell the kids everything they need to know about swim suits and bikinis,They see everything at the beach, so why should a coffee shop be any different.

I am not a "feminist" per say but come on!! Why do women complain they are treated like objects, aren't taken seriously in the work force and that men treat them like trash? Because so many of them do stupid things like this! Isn't getting tips because you're giving a "peep show" kind of the same as getting paid for sex? Come on ladies you are worth more than a few quarters in cup. Respect yourselves and then you'll get respect. The rest of the women in the world will thank you. And by the way a mostly naked hairy guy serving me any kind of food would make me sick!
