NYC's Tailor Restaurant has created the perfect confection that combines booze, cute and crazy: the Absinthe Gummy Bear. The bear is made from 85 percent absinthe and a touch of gelatin and sugar, just enough to keep the candy together before you eat it and the alcohol makes you fall apart.
If you have any doubts about this restaurant's appreciation for hallucinogenic concoctions, consider that the menu includes bizarre entrees like Chocolate Miso Cod and Foie Gras with peanut butter.

... Absinthe is not a hallucinogen. That was a myth perpetuated by the temperance movement to get absinthe banned in most countries

That's absolute rubbish!
Yes Absinthe is an hallucinogen, however Absinthe these days is made differently as the main ingredient Wormwood is classed an illegal drug in most countries, you can buy it mail order from countries that don't class Wormwood as illegal. The downside i have found to getting high on Absinthe though is that it will get you stupidly drunk before you trip on it, from memory i think it is avg 82% proof. You can also mail order plain Wormwood online and add it to plain Absinthe and steep it for about 4wks. :)
Peace
