Asylum is for all mankind, but that doesn't mean you can't read our site with your girl. Hell, pack some sandwiches and call it a date. Our favorite comment of the day comes from a couple, Dan and Jennifer, in The Truth about "Swingtown.""Swinging house parties are certainly a representation of the swinging lifestyle, but be cautious basing your swinging perspective on any particular event. As with all 'non-swinger parties,' they are hosted by individuals, so all will be different from the others."
Using that analogy, we went looking for the swinger's party equivalent of a weekend at Mardi Gras but got stuck at an engagement party for that guy at the office with BO.

As active swingers in a the Lifestyle "hotbed" of Houston, Texas, we totally agree with Dan and Jennifer.
In the swinging world, like in the vanilla world we end up at parties sometimes that we can not wait to exit. Then there is some where you don't want it to end.
I can assure you, in our town there are literally hundreds of Swinger functions going on each weekend night. Everyone of those functions a representation of the individuals hosting and attending the party.
You can find parties with an average age of 25 to and average age of 60. You can find themes from barbecue by the pool, costumes, to black tie affairs. As will all things in life absolutes rarely exist, any issue you may have with a party or event only means you went to the wrong one!
These negative stereotypes are what, as swingers, we were somewhat worried about before the premeire of Swingtown when we posted the article below on our swingers blog.

Dan and Jennifer are right on, and we love the comment from Mr Gentlenibbles (Houston does indeed have an absolutely amazing lifestyle community!). The swinging lifestyle has something for everyone; young and old, beautiful or with a few extra pounds.
As Mr Gentlenibbles points out, every type of social function is covered: including sporting events, camping, cookouts, motorcycles, cruises, travel, wine, and of course parties.
Venues include people homes, naturally, but also bars, clubs, hotels, resorts, parks, campsites, spas, cruise ships, and so much more. Check out the "Parties & Events" section of Kasidie.com to see a list of parties around the world.
You want "Mardi Gras with hot people"? You'll find it. You'll also find "engagement office party". Not every event is for every person, but there are parties for everyone. Just chose the right one for you; the people you meet will surprise you.

If "hot swingers" are what you seek, we suggest that you visit the Lifestyle Lounge (http://www.lifestylelounge.com), which is known as the swingers website where all the "beautiful people" hang out. There, you will find a list a parties in your area which are populated by all of the jocks and cheerleaders you knew in high school.
