For Alanis Morissette, rain on your wedding day is just ironic. But if the singer was wearing a dress made out of toilet paper, that scenario would also get pretty messy.Despite the obvious hang-ups, six custom-designed wedding dresses were displayed in Times Square last week as part of a contest sponsored by Charmin and Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com.
We're not going to speculate about the metaphor created by a toilet-paper wedding dress. We'll only say that each gown was made entirely from Charmin toilet paper, and designer Katrina Chalifoux of Rockford, Ill. took home the $1,000 prize for her sheath dress. It took two weeks to make and featured a flower pattern made from molded TP.
Questions Raised: Is this attire two-ply? Enhanced with aloe? Do the dresses have any inconspicuous corners that could be torn off and used to staunch bleeding from a shave gone awry?
