We've written a lot about dudes who try to pick up women using catcalls. Recently, an Israeli woman silenced construction workers by stripping (our readers are pretty opinionated about whether or not women like the attention). Now some college coeds in the U.K. have joined in the controversy by turning the tables on hooting guys.
A group of female students at West Kent College in the U.K. have been asked to stop harassing workers on a construction site by whistling and yelling in a sexually derogatory manner. In an e-mail sent to students, the school's administration warned: "We have asked the contractors' representative to pass on all instances of harassment to the college and we will take appropriate action which may include disciplinary action." (So far, none of the builders have complained.)
The protest comes on the cusp of a proposed bill in the U.K. that would make it possible for those hollering obscene things at passing women to be charged with "communicating indecently."
Question Raised: Should women be punished for harassing construction workers the way they are often harassed?

Let the ladies whistle. Construction workers have a god " 100 years of harassing " start on them. It's time that the ladies had a turn.

Ha!
I think the ladies should hoot and holler all they want... If the construction workers can whistle at the girls, why can't it be reversed?
