When preteens glimpse a pair of nearly exposed boobs, it can be an intense experience -- the sort of thing that makes you spend the rest of your adult life wandering through dark rooms with dollar bills jonesing for one more peek.That's why we're concerned about a group of Colorado kids who got much more than they expected out of a junior golf tournament when a crew of scantily clad strippers climbed out of a limousine at the course where the preteens were playing.
The ladies arrived at the Eagle Trace Golf Course to serve as caddies at a breast cancer benefit tournament sponsored by Shotgun Willie's topless club. Junior tournament officials claimed they had not been warned that the two events would overlap.

There was a golf tournament here in So. Cal. a few years ago with "working girls" on every hole. They even had tents set up by the tee boxes for service as you waited to hit your next drive. It got busted 'cause it was a two day deal and word got around the first night at all the bars and such. The second day, there was cops in camouflage hiding in the boulders and trees waiting. No more holes in one!

In the 39 years that we have been members of two premier private country clubs, we have never witnessed any crude behavior such as what you've mentioned. We rarely see people drunk at all at either club.
Joel, although I believe what you've experienced could be true at the place in which you were employed, I'm certain you'd be hard-pressed to find this is typical of most high class private clubs.
Clearly in the case of the members of your club, money hasn't been able to buy class.
At one of the two clubs of which we are now members, I held a dining room job during the summer while in high school. Even from that point of view, there weren't any discrepancies I recall.
Any club with class would not tolerate any association with such organizations as Hooters or a topless club, whether or not the women donned "beach-style" clothing or decent golf attire.

Sorry. I miss playing golf today...I probably wouldn't play well after seeing the topless girls on the course...Maybe next time I will ask them to carry my clubs for awhile or play under the the trees for the rest of the game...
