At Asylum headquarters, the conversation often turns to robots, whether it be robot hookers, robots playing air hockey, or robotic arms controlled by monkeys. So needless to say, we were happy to see Bullz-Eye come out with a list of their favorite robots of all time. But while discussing Bullz-Eye's list, we realized there were some robots missing ... some gay robots.
Rather than simply outing gay robots, a la Perez Hilton, we'd like to celebrate these homosexual machines and encourage them to embrace their sexuality. We love them regardless. So with great pride and all due respect -- our favorite gay robots:
-- C3PO. Fussy and covered in gold like a Studio 54 dancer, C3PO is the Elton John of robots.
-- Johnny 5. On-screen, Johnny 5 loves to dress up and act flamboyant. Off-screen, he is rumored to have had debaucherous flings with other male robots, most notably Robocop.
-- The gynoid from "Metropolis." Widely considered the first lesbian robot, her deep voice is actually what derailed her transition into talkies.
