Thirteen-year-old Danny Johnson broke the world record for Guitar Hero on May 17 by scoring 890,971 points during a 24-hour marathon in Dallas.

The teen broke the record by shredding "Through the Fire and Flames" by the band DragonForce on the expert setting. The song is eight minutes long and has 3,722 notes.

Though Johnson has only played the game for nine months, his father Scott claims his son has reached as high as 950,000 points while playing at home.
