If you happened to frequent Asylum around the time of the Eliot Spitzer scandal, you know we have a thing for Ashley Dupré. Well, it looks like we may finally get a shot at a date, even though we only make an honest blogger's wage.

Reports have surfaced that the former call girl is in negotiations to star in an MTV dating show, similar to that of Tila Tequila.

While Dupré's reps and MTV haven't commented, a source close to the project revealed that the 23-year-old party girl has been developing an unscripted show with Handprint Entertainment, the same company that managed the reality exploits of Nicole Richie and Pamela Anderson.

An exciting prospect, to be sure. However, our research has determined this wouldn't be the first reality show to star a prostitute. That poetic honor goes to "The Real Housewives of Orange County."
