Some Texas cops may be seeing things in a new light after a teenager dropped off LSD-laced cookies at Forth Worth-area precincts. So far, no officers have made a pilgrimage to India or become obsessed with deciphering Pink Floyd lyrics, but at least three were at risk of going on an unexpected acid trip.
Cops say Christian Phillips, 18, was carrying a list with the names of 25 police departments when he was arrested -- 12 of which had been checked off. He used a guise that the cookies were a gift from MADD.
An officer in the Blue Mound station was eventually tipped off when he picked up one of the psychedelic treats and detected the smell of marijuana. The cookies were then tested and found to contain LSD.
Movie Time: We're pretty sure that cops + LSD = a fine Rob Schneider or Chris Kattan vehicle. Suggest some plot twists and soon we'll be making it big in the world of B-pictures.
