A lot of scandalous pictures cross our desks every day, but none have captured our hearts and minds quite like these recently leaked snaps of cheerleaders for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. The pictures, which surfaced on an American sports Web site, show the women in various states of undress, playfully groping one another and in one notable shot, mooning the Peace Tower of Parliament in Ottawa.

The team (currently winless after three games this season) is allegedly shocked by the photos' content and contend that the women pictured are all former, not current, members of the Blue Lightning cheerleading squad. Arash Madani, spokesman for the Bombers, insisted Monday that the women in the pictures were on the squad in "2005 at the latest."

We can only assume that the team's current cheerleaders are a lot more decorous (and a lot less exciting) than the liberated ladies pictured in the gallery below.
