A recent study found that the human voice can signal your evolutionary desirability to the opposite sex.

Researchers have determined that people whose voices are deemed sexy tend to have greater body symmetry, and it has long been thought that a symmetrical body acts as proof of genetic soundness.

"The sound of a person's voice reveals a considerable amount of biological information," said Susan Hughes, an evolutionary psychologist. "It can reflect the mate value of a person."
