Dogs and cats living under the same roof tend to comfortably coexist, especially if they are introduced at a young age.In a survey of Israeli households with both types of pet, two-thirds reported outwardly friendly relations between the species and less than 10 percent reported aggression.
The numbers indicate that the living arrangements are even more harmonious in cases where the perceived antagonists are introduced before the cat turns six months old, and the dog a year.
This got us wondering what other inter-species rivalries have been falsely hyped in popular culture. Cats and mice? Coyotes and roadrunners? Donald Trump and Rosie O'Donnell?

This reminded me of the Danica Patrick and Milka argument on the race track this past weekend. if dogs and cats can get along, can't female race car drivers? For those who don't know who she is, check out her Talk Show Spoof Video

t amaising how dogs and cats get together,i have 3 dogs(a black Lab,a great dane-boxer,and a german shepard-lab)and 8 american breed cats,they play
together eat together and spend must of the time
on top of each other sleeping.the dogs think that any cat they see outside the house is part of the family and they try to bring them into the house i found myself having uninvited guest a few times.
