When we wrote about the postal worker who is lobbying to get a kilt option added to the official postal uniform, some of you thought the notion laughable. But others, like "CelticReverend," reminded us that the kilt is truly the most masculine of garments."To the naysayers -- talk to the US Marine Corp. Utilikilts has reported that the USMC is their single largest demographic. That's right, folks -- our military fighting men are wearing kilts. As a matter of fact, every branch of the U.S. military has a tartan from which their servicemen can get kilts made. The kilt as we know it today is a military garment -- as the Nazis learned the hard way in WW I."
We have two questions for "CelticReverend": Wouldn't a stiff breeze inhibit these kilt-wearing soldiers' ability to fight, and, since when did the Nazis participate in WW I?
