A new study suggests that 86 percent of U.S. adults will be overweight or obese by the year 2030.Currently 64 percent of U.S. adults are at an unhealthy weight, as defined by having more than a 25 on the body mass index. Recent findings by the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health indicate that the percentage will rise and that already fat Americans will become even fatter.
Before svelter nations laugh at America's runaway girth, they should consider another recent study which found that worldwide obesity rates are also rising rapidly, albeit at a lower pace than in the United States.
So while Americans are undoubtedly big-bodied, at least we are the fat pioneers, not the fat followers. We should all have a doughnut to celebrate.

The problem with this is the fact that the BMI is fucking stupid. Under our "Standards" Micheal Jordan needs to lose weight fast because he is "obese"
ecent studys have acctually shown that being a little over weight by the BMI is more healthy then being under weight or the ideal weight.
