The Geminoid is a type of Actroid, a human-like robot designed to realistically interact with people. This version, unveiled in 2006 by Hiroshi Ishiguro, was designed to look like its creator down to the last detail. The idea is that it can imitate Ishiguro's movements, voice and breathing patterns via a motion-capture device so that the professor can use it to teach classes from home.
There are two problems here. Firstly, the robot looks like Ishiguro's evil, monstrous twin. Secondly, can you imagine having this robot as a teacher? The first time he gave us an "F,"we would melt his robot face off with a blowtorch.
