In the interest of full disclosure, we strongly believe Subway skimps on toppings and grossly exaggerates their role in Jared's weight loss. That being said, we're not calling 911 on them. That extreme measure was recently taken by 42-year-old Reginald Peterson of Jacksonville, Fla. Peterson dialed up the emergency hotline twice to report his local Subway (after his first call, he dialed up again because the police hadn't arrived quickly enough). His emergency complaint was that the store's "sandwich artists" had neglected to add sauce to his spicy Italian.
Employees said Peterson was already acting belligerent before he made the calls. When police finally did arrive on the scene, they tried to calm Peterson and explain the proper use of 911. When his rage failed to abate, they arrested him on charges of making false 911 calls.
